12 april 2026
Dear youth members and parents,
Unfortunately, we received this information very late, and due to the Easter holidays we could not inform you earlier. That is why we are sending this message now with extra urgency:
👉 Do you want to participate? Let us know as soon as possible!
On Sunday, April 12, 2026, the annual starter tournament will take place at HTC in Hoofddorp. This tournament is specially designed for players with little or no match experience. You only need to know the basics of table tennis – the goal is to gain experience!
Why you really don’t want to miss this:
• You will play multiple matches against players of your level
• Grouped by age and/or rating
- Chance to win prizes
• Most importantly: lots of fun and a great learning experience
The tournament will be held at the HTC Table Tennis Center (Lutulistraat 142, Hoofddorp) and runs from 11:00 to approximately 15:30. The venue opens at 10:15.
👉 Important:
There is a maximum of 40 participants, and this tournament is usually fully booked well before the registration deadline. Due to the late communication, there is a high chance it will fill up quickly—so don’t wait!
Who is this tournament for?
• Born in 2007 or later
• No A or B license
• Rating of 550 or lower (or beginner without a rating)
The cost is only €5 per person.
Registration is only possible via TTV Amstelveen, so please let me know as soon as possible if you would like to participate. The official registration deadline is Wednesday, April 8, but the tournament may be full earlier—FULL = FULL.
If you want to register, please email your name to jeugd@ttvamstelveen.nl. By registering, you agree to the participation fee of €5, and hopefully there will still be enough spots available. Also use this mail address if you have any questions
Take this opportunity to gain match experience and enjoy a great day!
Kind regards,
Guus Korper
