Tournament for Beginner Youth Players at HTC

Update:

Twelve players from TTV Amstelveen have registered for the upcoming tournament on Sunday organized by HTC in Hoofddorp — a fantastic number!

Contrary to previous messages, the tournament will not start at 10:30 but at 11:00. Please aim to arrive approximately 30 minutes before the start.
Also, ALL players will continue playing until around 15:30,  followed by the awards ceremony.

Once more, some important reminders:

• Behave well and sportively and listen carefully to the tournament officials.
• You are expected to wear a TTV Amstelveen club shirt. Don’t have one yet? You can still purchase one from the trainers for €25 — just in time.
• There is a good cafeteria at HTC, but we recommend bringing your own lunch.
• Parents are welcome to come watch and support.
• The club does not arrange transportation; please coordinate among yourselves to travel together from the club to HTC.
• You will soon receive a payment request from the treasurer.

We wish you a fantastic tournament — give it your best and aim for as many prizes as possible!

Sportive regards,
On behalf of the trainers and the board,

Guus Korper

On Sunday, November 23, HTC (Hoofddorp) is once again organizing a tournament for beginner youth players. The tournament is specially intended to give new players with little (or no) tournament experience the opportunity to play a tournament relatively close to home. With the format of a placement round followed by a final round, the goal is for everyone to play matches at their own level.
Players who do not play league matches but would like to try a tournament are also very welcome!

Participation is open to youth players (born in 2007 or later) with a rating of 550 or lower, without an A or B license, and of course all beginner-level players without a rating.

Registration is possible until Friday, November 14, or until the maximum number of participants has been reached.

Important note:

• Previous editions of the tournament filled up quickly, so don’t wait too long to register! The maximum number of participants is 40.

Would you like to register? Then do so quickly via jeugd@ttvamstelveen.nl because full = full.
Send an email with your name and the sentence:
"Yes, I would like to participate in the tournament for beginner players at HTC in Hoofddorp."  The entry fee for this super fun tournament is €5 per player.

More information in Dutch can be found in the attachment.

Kind regards,
On behalf of the coaches and the board,
