Dear sports friends

We would like to bring the following to your attention

Beginners' tournament on 25 January 2026 at Stedebroec

To kick off the new year, we have planned two tournaments on Sunday, 25 January 2026. For starters and 5th class players, the tournament will take place at Stedebroec, and for competition players from the 2nd, 3rd and 4th classes, it will take place at Noordkop.

For the starters group, we are now opening the tournament to the entire region, with a maximum of 40 participants per tournament.

Both tournaments start at 11:00 a.m. We hope to see many new faces among the starters and many exciting matches among the competition players this spring season.

Of course, we depend on your cooperation and enthusiasm. Together, we can once again organise great tournaments for young people. In any case, we have noticed that there is now growth in youth participation in the northern part of Holland.

For the new clubs that can now participate, these tournaments will run from 24 September onwards to introduce young people to competitive sport in an accessible way. There are no costs involved, the location changes each time and there are small prizes available. In this way, we hope to get young people excited about tournaments and competition. The games are played in groups of four, after which the top two players go to the Main Tournament and the bottom two to the Consolation Tournament. So everyone continues to play.
The tournament starts at 11:00 a.m. and experience has shown that we finish around 2:30/3:00 p.m.

A number of beginners have now progressed in the competition, which is why there is now also a group for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th classes.

Together, we can make it another great series of tournaments.
Already planned are  ;
15 February at Ping Pong Alkmaar   -    15 March at Stedebroec     -  17 April at Spirit and
a closing tournament on 17 May at DOV.

If you would like more information, please feel free to contact Jelle or Joke

Kind regards
