“The Dutch National Team was quite disappointing against Austria. But now that it really matters, they just have to do better.
On Tuesday, July 2 at 6:00 PM, the Orange Lions will kick off, and it can be watched on a big screen in our canteen.
We invite all of you to come watch in the club’s canteen. Admission is free, provided you wear or bring something orange. Of course, friends, girl- and boy-friends, or family members are also very welcome.
The canteen will be open from 5 o’clock, and there will be plenty of drinks, snacks, and festive music available.
Let’s make it a wonderful orange (football) celebration together.
Because the match starts early, we expect a good turnout of young players and their parents this time.
Wearing orange clothing is not mandatory but highly encouraged.”
With this invitation and an exciting match ahead, a good number of people had gathered in the canteen on Tuesday.
The match was just as exciting as the previous one (at least until shortly before the end) with the difference that this time the Dutch team played excellently and won 3-0.
So there was plenty of reason to cheer and that was done exuberantly.
