Our pleasant and well attended Open Tournament on 20 and 21 May was a success.

all participants, the board and volunteers of TTV Amstelveen and
especially to the tournament committee consisting of Rijko Kramer and Brian van den Heuvel.

Table tennis club Amstelveen celebrates anniversary with grandiose national tournament

TTV Amstelveen exists 75 years and therefore organised the TTVA anniversary tournament on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 May,
which was played in sports hall de Meerkamp.
Just a few figures, 24 tables, 47 participating associations from all over the country, 230 participants including 90 youth players and 140 seniors,
21 volunteers, 20 hours of table tennis at all levels from an absolute starter in the youth to a premier league player in the seniors.
Lots of competition but even more fun. In short, the tournament was one big success.
It would go too far to mention all the winners but actually all the players, organisers and volunteers were the big winners.
After handing out all cups to the individual group winners, the association prize, the first prize among the participating associations,
was awarded to the leader of the organising association TTV Amstelveen, who more than deserved this honorary title.
