To all youth members of TTV Amstelveen,
First of all, on behalf of the trainers and the board, we wish you all a happy, healthy, and sporty 2025!
Training
Starting today, January 6th, youth training sessions are back! For now, the groups will remain the same as before the winter break. However, this might change after our trainers’ meeting. We’ll let you know about any new group arrangements in about two weeks.
With Martin Amersfoort temporarily away (he’s in Spain until April), we’ve made a few changes to the trainer lineup. On Mondays, Ben, Marijke, and Edwin will be running the sessions together. On Thursdays, Waldo auf der Springe (Isabella’s dad) will be joining Guus and Edwin as an assistant. Welcome, Waldo—it’s great to have you on board!
On Wednesdays, competition players who have signed up will train with John Scott. Haven’t signed up yet? Send an email to jeugd@ttvamstelveen.nl. Please note: this group is exclusively for competition players.

- Group 1 (starters and beginners):
Monday 16:30-17:30 and Thursday 17:00-18:00 - Group 2 (advanced):
Monday 17:30-18:30 and Thursday 18:00-19:00 - Group 3 (competition players):
Monday 18:30-19:30 and Thursday 18:00-19:00 - Youth selection training with John Scott: start 8 Januari
Wednesday 18:00-19:15
Make sure to arrive at least 10 minutes before the session starts, already changed and ready to go. And of course, listen to your trainers!
Competition
The competition schedule is out! This year, we’ve got five teams in the regular league:
- 1 team in the 1st Class
- 1 team in the 3rd Class
- 1 team in the 4th Class
- 2 teams in the 5th Class

During competitions, wearing the official club shirt is mandatory. The stock of shirts has been replenished, so we now have all sizes available again. The shirts cost €25 and can be purchased from the trainers or the board.
Activities
We’ve got lots of fun activities and tournaments planned for the youth this year too!
We’d also like to invite all youth members and their parents to our New Year’s Reception and the official opening of the new canteen. This will take place on Saturday, January 11th, starting at 4:00 PM. From then on, there will also be free play for both youth and senior members.
