On 24 November, there was the klaverjas tournament organised by Mick and Gerard:
Thursday evening at 8 p.m. 12 players gathered for another fun night of cloverjacks.
As the evening progressed, the players became more vocal and some even loud!
If you enjoy the game and the snacks and drinks keep coming steadily, it is 11.30 am in no time.
After some calculations, the result was known and the award ceremony followed.
The player with the most match points, our “good old favourite” Jaap Boerop, left with a nice bottle of champagne.
A nice prize was available for all participants and after enthusiastic applause for the organization and the joint ‘hand-and-span’ services, everyone returned home satisfied.
Afterwards, it was unanimously decided to repeat this evening in the spring and hopefully with even more participants.
