Unfortunately, the screen in the middle of the hall has been causing problems on a regular basis lately. This screen is essential for blocking out distracting outside light—a crucial requirement for anyone playing in our hall, but especially during daytime league matches. Glare from the sun can significantly affect a match, and of course we want to prevent that.
After several previous repairs by the manager, the screen was recently removed entirely. Unfortunately, it is still unclear at this time whether—and if so, when—a new or repaired screen will be reinstalled.
With the start of the competition just around the corner, we had to act quickly. Thanks to Atie’s quick action, a suitable covering was arranged, which Arjan then expertly installed. Thanks to both of them for their efforts!
