Dear parents and junior players of TTV Amstelveen,
On Sunday 22 November, HTC will once again organize a tournament for beginner players. This tournament is primarily intended to give players with little or no tournament or match experience the opportunity to participate in a tournament relatively close to home.
The tournament format consists of an initial qualifying round followed by a final round, ensuring that everyone can play matches against opponents of a similar skill level. This makes it an ideal opportunity for new players who have joined our club over the past few months, but certainly also for beginners who have been playing for a little longer.
Participation is open to junior players (born in 2007 or later) with a competition rating of 550 or lower, as well as all beginner-level players who do not yet have a rating.
Registration is open until Sunday 15 November, or until the maximum number of participants has been reached. We hope to see a great turnout!
Important information:
– Previous editions of this tournament have often been fully booked very quickly, so don’t wait too long to register! The maximum number of participants is 40. If you would like to take part, make sure to sign up as soon as possible!
Registration and payment must be arranged through the clubs, not individually by parents.
