Match Amstelveen 9-Rijsenhout 3 on November 7, 2022
Around 19:40 team 9 (Jaap, Dnyanesh and Jan-Jaap) was complete to do the pre-match warmup .
While playing in with Jaap and Dnyanesh, I got injured (snapped something in the foot) so could not be drafted. So Jaap and Dnyanesh had to make it happen.
Dnyanesh won 2 sets and Jaap nothing. As Rijsenhout also showed up with 2 players, the games were quickly played: around 22:15 the table was put away. Final score was 4-5 against us.
One match (C-Z) was not played, therefore 9 sets.
Match Amsterdam ’78 15 – Amstelveen 9 on November 4, 2022
A foot injury of mine (heel spur) prevented me from playing at full strength.
Gerard and Jaap picked me up at home, together we drove to Amsterdam ’78. I said to Gerard “just park at the first best parking spot because it is difficult to park on the quay during the day”. In hindsight, we were able to park in front of Adam ’78.
I started the kick-off against Abhishek which I lost in five games. Gerard lost in three against Giorgio and Jaap won in four against Stefanos.
In the end, Gerard won two more sets so the final score was 7-3.
