Game 11 – testevent
Game 11 will visit us for the yearly test event. They will take several bats that you can try out . They will also take shoes, bats rubbers and much more.
So if you need something for the new season you can come by. If you already know what you want you can send an email to game11 ( info@game11.nl ) They will then bring your order with them on 14 september. They can also stick your rubbers when you order new ones.

General Members Meeting.
It is still some time away but we have already announced the date for the Annual General members meeting (2023) on Thursday 9th November.
Hold the date and add to your calendar. The play hall will not be available from that time on as always.

Banging final anniversary party
On Saturday 25 November we will close our 75th anniversary year with an afternoon party (youth) and evening party(seniors). So hold this date and add it to your calendar..The anniversary committee is busy making the program for the day (games/music/snacks/drinks) . If you have good ideas or wish to help please let us know thru 75jarigjubileum@ttvamstelveen.nl . You can register already now via Festive closing of the anniversary year!

Contribution for season 2023-2024
As usual, our treasurer, Brian van den Heuvel, will send all members or parents of youth members a payment request for paying the contribution for the new season. Please note, if you pay before October 1, there is a payment discount, it’s a shame to miss it!
Adjustment canteen prices
Unfortunately, also our club will have to raise the prices of a number of drinks and snacks, due to the strong increase in purchasing costs due to, among other things, the high inflation of the past year. The new prices apply from September 1st.
Mandatory bar services for competition playing teams
As of this autumn competition, a mandatory bar service will be introduced, in part because there were insufficient volunteer or paid bar services among the seniors. Also with the youth it has been desirable for a while to have a good bar service and not leave everything to the hall attendant. The schedule will be sent to all team captains in the near future including a set of guidelines. We trust that the teams will handle this responsibility well and that everything will run smoothly.
‘Grote Clubactie’
The Grote Club Actie will start again on Saturday 23 September. We hope that it will be as successful as last year in which more than EUR 1,300 was raised for our club. Jonathan was then the best raffle ticket seller among the youth with about 80 raffle tickets sold. As a prize he chose to train with the first senior team! Once again this year there are great prizes to be won for the best sellers among the youth. So good luck everyone.
Safe environment
TTV Amstelveen is also following the process of sport safe . To provide a safe climate for everyone. In accordance with the policies we as The Board requested a VOG for the trainers and the members of the board. Check out our website Safe Sports to see what measures we have taken as an association.
Extra training possible
Extra training opportunity for Teams 1-4 and trainers on Wednesdays from 18:00 -20:00. From 1 September 2023 onwards.
Volunteers wanted – repeated call
- Organizing activities. We are always looking for people who want to organize a one-off event; a tournament, a clinic, cloverjack evening or come up with an idea yourself. We have many Indian members, so an Indian evening is also possible! If you like doing something like this, send an email to Brian van den Heuvel: penningmeester@ttvamstelveen.nl or talk to Brian at the association.
- Assistant youth coaches wanted. Would you like to help with this? We would especially like to encourage parents of our youth members to contact Guus Korper at jeugd@ttvamstelveen.nl.
Opening hours hall
Please note that after the holidays we have the normal opening hours again .
New hall
Still de planning for the new play hall is July 2024, so no changes there. As you can see the old school has been demolished and they started working on the foundation. We have discussed the layout of the canteen with the municipality and are now negotiating the hall rent.
