Already the third klaverjas evening at Table Tennis Association Amstelveen!
On Friday evening, December 8, the players arrived and the atmosphere was immediately pleasant. And just after eight o’clock, after coffee, the 16 players were asked, after an explanation of the playing method and the table arrangement, to go to the four tables.
After three rounds with accompanying table and player changes, the entertaining evening came to an end around midnight. Everyone had a great time, supported by the necessary snacks and drinks. After Mick calculated the match points, the awards ceremony for the four best players of the evening followed.
The surprising winner this evening was Ladi, who was followed by Michael, Wim and Paul. The occasional/organizing team Edwin/Mick/Gerard also managed to score high again completely out of competition. The lowest ranked player, this time Henk Schmidt, was happily or unhappily surprised with the red lantern.
After this successful klaverjas evening, during which Edwin spontaneously took on a large part of the bar service, we are counting on a nice turnout again next time!
