During the battle for the Amsterdam Junior Recreational Games, which was fought by 36 players on Saturday 18 May, the 6-player delegation of TTV Amstelveen took the first place.
This was the first time that the recreational category was scheduled and all players, under the guidance of trainer/coach Guus Korper, managed to secure at least one victory.
Jeffrey van den Heuvel, the team captain, was the first to come out of the group, and with a strong performance in the following rounds managed to reach the finals.
After a big victory over Dennis Nacu, Jeffrey received the trophy for the first prize with a big smile.
