As everyone can see, the demolition of the old school has began and we have some hinder from the activities. We will update you later on the progress.

Training Youth

  • The training sessions will start again from September 1, on every Monday and Thursday with  around 40 youth members in 2 groups.
  • For these groups we are very much looking for assistant trainers. Should you be able to help us with this on a regular basis please contact Guus Korper
  • It is important that the youth players play with good equipment. For the first 3 months they can borrow bats from the club. After 3 months we would like the youth to play with their own bat. Do not buy a bat from a sports or toy store. We always have good bats for sale at the club at a reasonable price. With these bats the children can go on for years and the trainers know which material is needed.

Volunteers wanted!

  • Bar service for senior league on Friday evenings. We are still looking for someone who is willing to work a part of the bar service on Friday evenings. It’s about 5 evenings per competition, or 10 for the whole season. There is also a fee in return. Are you interested or do you know someone, please contact Atie Vos:
  • Organizing activities. Furthermore, we are always looking for people who want to organize something on a one-off basis; a tournament, a clinic, klaverjas evening or come up with your own idea.
  • We have many Indian members, so an Indian evening is of course also possible! If you like doing something like this, send an email to Brian van den Heuvel: or speak to Brian at the association.
  • Assistant youth trainers wanted . See above about Training Youth

Other announcements

  • Autumn competition team format. The team divisions of both the seniors (10 teams) and youth (4 teams) are ready. Separate communication about this has been sent around by the competition secretary.
  • The Holland Noord and National Competition Division will switch completely to the Digital Competition Form (DWF). This means no more paper competition forms and using only the NTTB app starting with the coming autumn competition. See further: (in Dutch). Also this  information is sent to the members concerned by our competition secretary. Also see the article on our website.
  • Sponsor clicks. We have now passed the magical milestone of EUR 2,000. A welcome financial addition to our club’s income. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this! However, we think that many more members, relatives, friends etc. can help us. So help your club and if you want to order something online, go to: It costs you nothing extra and you help your club. Find the company where you want to order something and it will work as usual. So put this link as a favourite in your browser.
  • The autumn competition starts Monday September 12 . Goodluck to all.
  • The treasurer will start sending the request to pay the annual Club Fee. Please pay in time (before 1 October) so you will get EUR 20 reduction!!
