On Saturday, 6 June, Justin de Witt succeeded in earning his B licence in impressive fashion.
During the B-Youth Qualification Ranking Tournament, organised by the NTTB in Pannerden, 24 players competed for just 4 available places that would earn them a B licence. The competition was strong, but Justin immediately showed that he was in excellent form.
In the first round, he finished second in his group by winning 3 of his 4 matches. This secured him a place in the final round, where the players were again divided into 4 groups. Only the winners of these groups would qualify for a B licence.
Justin continued to play extremely well and went on to win all his matches in the final round. With a fantastic final result of 5 wins from 6 matches, he finished among the top 4 players. This meant his B licence was secured. The 4 remaining players received their well-deserved licence without having to play any further matches.
A wonderful achievement by Justin. His dedication and hard work during training have clearly paid off.
Well done, Justin! We look forward to the new season together with you.
