On Saturday 30 November, our 2nd junior team played their second-to-last match. A 5-5 draw would be enough to secure 1st place in their 5th class pool.
Naturally, against the opponent ranked second in the pool, they were also aiming for the maximum result. And what a result: it was 10-0!
Especially the smallest player Pengxuan had to pull out all the stops to still win twice in 5 sets. The other players Dimana and Pengyu, as we have come to expect from them, played keenly even after reaching 5-0.
In the picture, 4th player Elisa is missing because she was not drafted today. Nevertheless, she too contributed considerably to this wonderful championship. There will be flowers for her at the club on Monday, and maybe we will make a picture of the champions with all players in it.
