Herewith the report of the played championships of the older youngsters:
on 20 and 27 May the singles and on 3 June the doubles.
In the 1st round, four 4-kamp matches were played,
whereby the top 2 went on to the A poule.
The following players had qualified for the A poule:
Bart, Wanda, Paul, Roy, Atie, Jan Jaap, Wim and oldest youngster Jaap.
In the B poule we had :
Douwe, Dick, Ruud, Ben Peter, Kees, Roel, Gerard P, Vaclav, Anelies.
In the 2nd round of the A Poule the winners were Bart and Wanda.
In an exciting final Bart won.
In the B group the toppers were Douwe and Dick,
with Douwe eventually winning.
On 3 July chance dictated who would play doubles with whom,
resulting in a victory for Guus and Ben in Pool 1 and for Ruud and Atie in Pool 2.
The final was won by Guus and Ben.
Unfortunately, due to absence in the 2nd round, a number of players could not compete.
All in all these were 3 nice Fridays and there were requests
to do this more often in the future.
