On Thursday 26 January, the youth doubles championships were played from 18:00 to 20:00.
24 enthusiastic children, led by 3 trainers, played against each other in 12 pairs. We played in 3 pools of 4 couples. Each match required 2 games for 11 points.
This way, especially the younger children could get acquainted with playing doubles, which in terms of serving balls and changing places has specific and definitely not simple rules.
After playing all the pool matches, all the numbers 1, 2 and 3 in the pools competed against each other for the final 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
In the end, Taha Mansri and Leo Ma came 1st, Ekin Erayabakan and Andreii Pankow 2nd and third place was taken ex aequo by Maurits Voogd/Jonathan Zoutewelle
and Rianne Gupta/Reyansh Gupta.
We could look back on a successful championship.
