Dear Members,
We have made a great start, last Sunday we have already moved a lot of our stuff to the new location. In the kitchen, under the supervision of Atie, quite a bit of stuff has already been set up. Also the new build of the bar has also made a good start with putting the cabinets together. Thanks to the many volunteers who helped dismantle, lug, clean, furnish and build everything. It is great for the board to see so many members so involved in our club.
Next Friday, November 1, the mover will come to move all the heavy items such as the tabletennis tables, freezer, coolers and sofa. We will also continue this day from 11 a.m. to move all the other stuff and clean everything well and further decorate our equipment room, canteen and kitchen. Arjan and the bar construction team will then also continue building the bar, tops, sink area and further finishing. The goal is to have all items in the new location by 3 p.m. and that everything is clean and put in the right position. So if you still have time this Friday to come and help between 11.00 and 15.00 you are most welcome!
So we still play a few days (up and until Thursday, October 31) in our old location and as from Friday, November 1 at 15.00 our 55+ club has the honor of hitting the first balls in our new hall! And Saturday, November 2, first our youth will play from 10.00 after which at 15.00 the senior teams 1 and 2 will play their first league games. We warmly invite you to come take a look and check out the new gym and canteen and of course also cheer on the teams!
