On Monday 5 December, the trainers organized the pepernoten tournament.
27 youth members played a magnificent tournament on 6 tables.
At first, they played against each other independently of age and level in groups of five players.
After the completion of these five camps, everyone played against each other in a group of four, depending on their results.
The winner’s pool consisted of Aadit, Yavuz, Taha and Vrishti. After two superb semi-finals, Taha and Yavuz forced a place in the finals. In this final, Yavuz, under the watchful eye of all the other participants, managed to win 2-0 from Taha.
After all players enjoyed their won gingerbread nuts in the canteen, the players in the winner’s pool received their prizes.
Due to its great success, the next pepernoten tournament has already been scheduled for early December 2023.
