On April 3rd, 2025, the new material arrived, made possible by funding from the Schiphol Fund. It was just a single pallet, but it weighed in at over 700 kg. Along with six tables, we also received net posts and divider fences.
Naturally, most of the attention was focused on the tables, as there had been a previous question about whether they would fit in the elevator without any issues. It turned out they did fit, although the elevator did get stuck halfway once.
Thanks to the members of the board and (mainly) the 55+ group (who else has time on a Friday around lunchtime?), along with some hand trolleys, we managed to get everything up to the first floor near the canteen.
Now, all that’s left is to assemble it all.
