Message from youth committee coordinator Guus Korper:
Dear competition players and parents of competition players.
In just over 2 weeks, to be exact on Saturday 16 September, the youth league will start. This season we have 1 team in the regular league and 3 teams in the starter competition.
Unfortunately, the table tennis federation has had to divide the starter teams into pools of 5, which means that the number of league matches is less than usual. We will try to organize some extra matches for the starters, but more on that later.
On Thursday 14 September (after training), I would like to sit down with all parents of competition players and answer questions regarding the competition.
We also want to clarify some things then regarding ” wishes and obligations” for league players and their parents.
We will also have to switch to mandatory canteen shifts this year. Each team will have to do a canteen shift 2 or 3 times during the season. Who has to do so can be found in the league schedule.
The crosses in the schedule mean that the player concerned plays, a red square means that player does not play.
The first named player of a team is the captain. The captain must ensure that his team appears complete at the start. If that does not work, please contact Guus or Ben, but only if you have really tried.
If there are times in the schedule below when a player is lined up but cannot play, please let us know as soon as possible.
The lineups of the teams and of the games per team have been sent by email to the players.
On behalf of the board and trainers
Guus Korper
