Message by competition secretary Alex Brandt
Dear team captains,
Good news, the competition will start as planned. I would like to draw your attention to a number of points and ask you to take care of this within your team. Thank you in advance and I wish you lots of fun and success!
Digital Competition Form (DWF)
All teams are urged to use the NTTB app every match. The club playing at home fills in the DWF in the app, while the club playing away has to confirm the DWF. It is best to do this immediately after the match. More info (in Dutch only): NTTB App and Digital Competition Form
In the DWF, the comments box should be used for any notes placed on the back of the paper scoresheet.
However, the paper competition form must also still be filled out. The teams playing at home must ensure that someone collects the forms and delivers them (by the next morning at the latest) to the competition secretary, address: Loethoelilaan 63, Amstelveen. I must keep these forms and forward them in time to the competition leader, otherwise a fine will be imposed.
The home playing team is responsible for filling out the competition form. Please check that all mandatory fields are filled correctly before you sign off the form when the match is finished. However, the away team is still responsible for the following data (and the NTTB can issue a fine when not done correctly):
– Club and team number
– Names and registration numbers of the players
– Team number of substitute(s)
– Number of sets won/lost for each player
– Indication of the players who played the doubles
– Signature of the team captain
Rescheduling a match
Given the increasing number of Corona infections, which may cause matches cannot take place, it has been decided to make the rules for moving a match less strict. It is now allowed (in this regional competition) to move a match in mutual consultation, the only rule being that the match must be played as soon as possible after the official date of play, but in any case no later than the 10th week of play.
The competition leader must be informed in advance by e-mail about all changes by the competition secretaries of both clubs.
Imposed substitute restrictions
The substitute restrictions are not attached to this (copy of the) e-mail. Furthermore, the usual rules for a substitute apply: only in a higher team (lower numbered) and with a maximum of 3 times. Simultaneous appearance in two league matches is allowed, provided that the captains of all teams involved have signed for agreement in advance on the back of the original competition form (where the player is a substitute). It must also be clearly indicated on the score sheet which team the substitute comes from.
In the DWF, the comments box should be used for these notes placed on the back of the paper scoresheet.
