TTV Amstelveen got a great donation from the Schiphol Fund.
The current table tennis tables of the TTV Amstelveen were purchased in 2011 and have been used intensively for many years. We therefore need a number of new tables, also for our league matches. Because of this the board has decided to ask for a donation from the Schipholfonds.
The Schipholfonds is a fund that wants to stimulate sportive movement in the vicinity of the airport by giving a donation to sports clubs for the purchase of sports equipment for example. For more information about the Schiphol Fund: https://www.schiphol.nl/nl/schipholfonds/
Last May the board submitted the application, at the end of May the Schiphol Fund gave a positive decision and on Friday 21 June Arjan Verburg and Brian van den Heuvel officially received the donation of no less than € 3,850 at the Schiphol Group head office (see photos). TTV Amstelveen thanks the Schiphol Fund for this wonderful donation!
We already have some nice tables in mind and will continue to look for them in the coming weeks, with the aim to have the tables (6 of them!) ready at the beginning of the new season!
