On Sunday 16 April, HTC will again organize a tournament for novice players in Hoofddorp.
The tournament is especially meant to give novice players without (too much) tournament and/or league experience the opportunity to play a tournament relatively close by.
Due to the format with first a placement round and then a final round, the aim is for everyone to play matches at their own level.
Start at 10.00 am, the venue is open from 9.15 am. End time is around 2.30pm.
Please register as soon as possible as only 40 players can participate in this tournament. Last year, we had to disappoint a large number of players because registrations came in too late.

This tournament is intended to give youth players experience playing tournaments. The required level of play is minimal: only basic knowledge of the rules and basic strokes are required. Players whose level does not qualify for the national youth ranking tournaments are also eligible for this tournament. - Start/End
Start at 10.00 a.m., the hall is open from 9.15 a.m. End time is around 2.30 pm. - Tables
Games will be played on a maximum of ten tables. - Participation
Participants must meet the following conditions:
– no A or B license
– born in 2003 or later
– competition players 4th class youth or lower, or non-competition players of comparable level - Classification
Singles only, by age. Participants will be divided into two or three classes based on age and/or rating (if known). - Registration address / information

After registration has closed, all contact persons of the participating associations will receive confirmation of their participation by e-mail. - Entry fee
The tournament requires an entry fee of € 5.00 per person, payable via TTV Amstelveen. The club’s contact person must transfer the total entry fee at the same time as registration. Registration obliges payment and participation. - Closing date
Registration closes on Sunday 2 April 2023 or as much earlier as the tournament is fully booked. The maximum number of participants is 40. Please note that the tournament has been fully booked every time in recent editions well before the closing date.
